The easiest way to find volunteers for your meetup group is to ask for help. Be specific and define meaningful, approachable tasks that are easy for group regulars to take on.

I created Guildflow because I saw how stagnant and abrasive Meetup.com had become, particularly when it was part of the WeWork company. I started to wonder if Meetup.com would even be around in a few more years.

🍪 This week I changed the Guildflow website to use Fathom Analytics @usefathom. Since it does not use cookies to track people, I don’t need to show an obnoxious cookie agreement banner.
PS: I still love cookies in real life.

📢 New deployment went live today. Mostly bug fixes and security updates. Also re-added the ability to grant the admin role to other members. One big feature was close but not ready. Maybe next week.

✏️ One of the big things you’ll be seeing in the coming weeks on the @guildflow site is a much stronger focus on helping technical meetups be successful and the features I am working on to that end. If you want a sneak peak check out this GitHub issue. Feedback very welcome.
